   HTC HD2 has a 1GHz processor and runs the latest new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, It will be the company's first Windows Mobile phone to rock HTC's Sense user interface.

   The HD2 will also be powered by Qualcomm's new 1GHz Snapdragon mobile processor and boasts a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800) capacitive touch screen. Other highlights include Bluetooth 2.1, a 5-megapixel camera, and a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack.

   The HTC Sense UI rose to fame as the Android-powered Hero’s slick homescreen interface. And, this is the first time we’re seeing aspects of the multi-pane Sense UI making its way to Windows Mobile, and it looks promising. The new Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional interface has been re-worked to play nice with finger inputs, but it took HTC’s Sense UI to polish it to a touch-optimized shine.

  • It’s powered by the Qualcomm 1Ghz ‘Snapdragon’ chipset complete with 512MB ROM and 448MB RAM.
  • The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.5, but HTC have added their Sense UI too.
  • The gorgeous 480×800 screen is multi-touch enabled, measures 4.3″ and is capacitive - a first for a Windows Mobile device.
  • The 3G phone has HSDPA and HSUPA support, plus Wi-Fi and A2DP Bluetooth.
  • A MicroSD card slot will boost the storage capacity.
  • On the rear of the phone is a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and a dual-LED flash.
  • Assisted GPS onboard.
