Motorola's  ROKR ZN50 continues Motorola's tradition of silly names, but packs in features to fan the flames of Moto-lust in ways not seen since the days of the RAZR. For a start there’s a 3.2 inch touchscreen and a battery strong enough to kick 30 hours of music through a proper headphone socket.

Motorola ROKR ZN50 is the first Android-powered smartphone and full touchscreen music slider by the American company. Its design, slightly reminds us of the Nokia XpressMusic lineup with its blue and red accents, only that it is much hotter looking. Even the three-panels design Motorola are touting – which gives three homescreens that can be flicked between and filled up with different icons and shortcuts – sounds like Android’s homescreen.

The music-centric, full touchscreen slider packs a 3.2-inch panel (427 x 240 resolution), automatic screen rotation, shake to switch tracks, a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, Bluetooth stereo headset support, SRS WOW HD audio tech and a battery good for 30 hours of audio playback. There's also a T-DMB TV tuner, 4GB of inbuilt memory, a microSDHC card slot, 3.2 megapixel camera, an e-dictionary and support for 7.2Mbps HSDPA.

It’s HSDPA-enabled for high speed web surfing, has 4GB of built in storage and nifty shake-to-shuffle technology when it comes to playing music.

Motorola have also thrown in the SRS WOW HD sound system and tweakable EQ settings, and a microSD slot good for up to 16GB cards.  The ROKR ZN50 measures 108.9 x 54.0 x 14.34 mm, weighs 143g, and comes with a 950mAh battery.  No word on whether it’ll see a release anywhere outside of Korea, however.
