The Nokia 6700 slide features a 2.2-inch QVGA display. It comes with 3G connectivity, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and capture key, web browsing with HSDPA and HSUPA and support for email and Ovi chat. The phone packs S60 based operating system.

The Nokia 6700 slide will be available in aluminum, pink, petrol-blue, red, lime and purple color versions. The specs list both image editing and uploading apps and Nokia Messaging so whether you use it for work or play is up to you.

A quick look at the rest of the specs shows quad-band GSM, tri-band 3G (two versions) with HSDPA and HSUPA (up to 10.2 Mbps an 2Mbps respectively), 2.2" QVGA screen, size and weight of 95.2 x 46 x 15.9 mm and 110 grams, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB port, microSD slot for cards up to 16GB (2GB included) and a 860mAh battery that lasts up to 29 hours of music playback. It's a shame that it has a 2.5mm audio jack though.
